Back of the Reichstag
Behind the parliament building in Berlin. From its opening in 1894 until the reunified parliament moved in back in 1999 this has always been a troubled yet iconic building, sitting right on the river Spree.
At the beginning of October we had summer-like weather. It was weird, but very much welcomed. This coincided nicely with Monday October 3rd, the day that has been celebrated for the past 21 years symbolising German unity. The day in 1990 when East and West Germany became one country again. I was lucky enough to catch this picture on October 3rd this year.
