Unter den Linden
The Unter den Linden is one of the most ‘touristy’ spots in town. However, this is completely justified. This one street lined with linden (lime) trees has a historical signfiicance relative to the whole world. This is the ‘royal boulevard’ not just for the first Empire of Germany (1871-1919) but for Prussia as well (1701-1871). It is famous even before this. Often for all the right and all the wrong reasons.
However it’s not for the tourists or the history that I took this photo, but for the colours. Autumn is coming and it’s beautiful.
