Some of my favourite photos are complete accidents. I was trying to get the picture in the middle, but then I liked the other 2 so much I just decided they belonged together.
Click through for some photos of Alternative Berlin in the district of Mitte. I’ll do seperate posts for other districts some time in the future when I’ve got some good pics.
The general history tour is going well as well, and I’m all settled in and living somewhere, so I have to say I’m pretty pleased with how things are turning out. Thankfully I had some time (and daylight) to use my new 28mm f/2.8 lens and got a few pics I’m proud of, so I’ll put them below. As ever, they’re on my Flickr page as well.
I love how this clown appears to be jumping right out at you.
The last 6 months of my life are testament to this statement, let alone the past 21 years.
Although this piece has been here for a while, given the recent 'terrorist threat' (be alert, but not alarmed) here in Berlin this kind of thing gains an air of contentiousness.
I saw this for the first time today and thought it was great, will hopefully be able to work it into my tour.
Cheers for taking a look, feel free to add me on Flickr, Twitter, or subscribe to this blog via email.
And of course, go and see Berlin.
